Woke up this morning to find several of our Halloween decorations were stolen last night. None of it was worth a whole lot, but still. We live in a quiet neighborhood and stuff like this just doesn’t happen.
I’m sure it was probably just some punkass kids thinking it was cool, but I really hope one day they realize how wrong stealing other people’s stuff is.

I’d say qiuet neighborhoods are where it’s most likely to happen because the kids have nothing better to do.

We don’t really have many kids old enough to do something like that, though. It’s either older people or families with small children. We always do more than anybody else so it was just an easy target I guess.

That sucks. Kids TP’d our house last year and smashed some pumpkins. I wanted to be angry about about it but I just laughed to myself because my friends and I did that shit when we were kids. I don’t know how I’ll keep a straight face when I have to discipline my own kids for doing stuff like that.

It’s the truth, kids got our house last year and I just laughed as I was a stupid jerk at times when I was a kid. My dad came over when I was cleaning up and laughed saying that he and his friends did it too!

Yes, no doubt. I got a random steak knife stuck in the sidewall of my tire four or five years ago. The only thing I can fathom, is some kid found a cheap steak knife on the ground, happened to walk past my truck, and think, “That looks like a good place to put this knife.”

I had my yard rolled when i was a kid. It’s funny till you have to go out there and clean it up after it has rained.
Thankfully whoever did this didn’t smash the 3 pumpkins on our porch. My stepchildren carved them and would have been heartbroken.

A few years back I saw a nativity scene with three wise men, a camel, and a sign in the middle reading “We know you stole the Holy Family. Please give them back and we will not press charges.”
